ATLANTA, GA (April 24, 2026) – Edged US, the high-performance, waterless data center provider, yesterday celebrated a major construction milestone with the topping out of its newest AI-ready data center in Atlanta. Custom-built for artificial intelligence (AI) training and inference at scale, the state-of-the-art facility will deliver 42 MW of critical capacity and further expand the company’s growing Atlanta campus.
The development transforms the formerly vacant Tilford Yard site into a hub for advanced, sustainable digital infrastructure.
The topping out ceremony marked the completion of the building’s structural framework and brought together Edged operations and construction leaders and key partners, including builder Brasfield and Gorrie, design partners MG2 and Bala, and cooling and power suppliers ThermalWorks and PowerSecure. The milestone was commemorated with a ceremonial beam signing, recognizing the collaboration and craftsmanship behind the project.

The new facility, located on the more than 80-acre campus, is designed to support ultra high-density workloads of 400+ kW per rack with liquid cooling and 120+ kW per rack with air cooling. The facility is outfitted with ThermalWorks’ advanced waterless cooling technology and is expected to conserve more than 161 million gallons of water annually while using 72% less energy overhead than conventional data centers.

Atlanta has rapidly emerged as a leading data center market, supported by a strong talent pool, reliable power infrastructure, and extensive fiber connectivity. Edged US completed its first 27 MW data center on the campus in 2024, with a second 100 MW facility now operational.
The third Atlanta facility is expected to be operational in early 2027 and will join Edged’s growing network of data centers across North America, including in Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Des Moines, Kansas City and Phoenix. All three data centers on the campus are fully leased.
