The recognition follows continued progress on the Edged Des Moines data center, a 13.2 MW, ultra-efficient facility optimized for AI inference and high-density compute. Strategically located at 9100 SE Four Mile Drive in Ankeny just north of Des Moines, one of the nation’s fastest growing tech hubs, the site features ThermalWorks waterless cooling systems, delivering an average PUE of 1.15 portfolio-wide and a WUE of 0.00. The facility will save up to 52 million gallons of water annually compared to conventional data centers.
Designed for scalability and rapid deployment, the Des Moines campus will serve as a cornerstone of Edged’s U.S. platform when it comes online by the end of 2026, helping meet surging AI demand while setting new benchmarks for sustainability and operational efficiency in the Midwest.
